Went in for a wheel bearing. Was told I needed two ball joints and rack and pinion. 1500 bucks later, still have suspension issues plus they smoked my tire sensor. Which I also brought up needing to be looked at. But they made sure to try to sell me a battery I didn't need. Won't be going back. I recommend you don't either.

Hi Christopher, I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I see you brought your vehicle in Aug for a loose front end, and you approved to the ball joint and rack and pinion repairs. I'm not sure what you mean by your smoked tire sensor, if you are still having an issue with your front end, we do stand by our work. Please call and we can discuss this and perhaps go for a ride with you and check it over, there will be no charge. Your battery test was from courtesy inspection on the oil change we did for you too, If a battery tests weak, I feel I should bring it to the customers attention. I hope to hear from you, Joe

Once they got the transmission in it was great timing of work getting done, great pricing and keeping me up to date as many times as I called in.

Alyssa, thank you for allowing us to repair the transmission on your vehicle. Transmission repairs can be expensive and we are happy to hear you found our pricing was favorable. We appreciate you trusting us with your business and look forward to serving you down the road.

I’ve been taking my car(s) to Sterling by the Bay for years and the whole experience is as good as car repair can be. I drive a 2009 Toyota Rav 4 with over 220,000 miles on it and the reason it’s still running is Sterling. My Rav suddenly started overheating big time and then after letting cool it cool down it wouldn’t start and I had to have it towed the shop. I thought this was going to be it for my dependable Toyota. The guys quickly and accurately figured out what was wrong and installed a new thermostat and changed the plugs… something I should have had done long ago. They also replaced a valve cover which had been leaking for a while. The car runs better than ever and I’m shooting for 300k. The price was pretty reasonable for all of that especially when you compare it to what a dealer or a lot of other shops would have charged.
