So I have a normal mechanic, Preston Automotive, at 23 Mile and Donner. They do solid work, they just don't do alignments. Got my brakes done and then was on the hunt for someone to do the alignment. Talked to a friend who said Sterling does good work however they try to talk you into tons of things that you don't need. Well, strike 1. But I know my car is in good shape. Armed with a coupon for an alignment for 70$ I call up. I'm told no appointment necessary, they don't even do appountments for an alignment. Awesome! Up bright and early today to take it the guy at the front desk tells me I need an appointment and asking to see my phone to verify my call log. If you guys can't figure out how to schedule appointments I have zero faith in your car repair techniques. Belle Tire offers a 30$ coupon when you sign up for their emails making the alignment 70$ at Belle Tire. To sum it up, if you need auto work go see Matt at Preston Automotive. If you need an alignment, sign up for the Belle Tire emails save yourself the hassle of sterling by the bay!
Hi Colleen, I'm sorry I could not accommodate you this morning at 7:30-8am, we have been very busy. We have always scheduled appointments for alignments, that is why I had asked if you called the right shop when you said the guy said no appointments were necessary. I never asked for your phone, and especially to see your call logs. I then did remember you called last night you had asked for a price, $69.95, I assure you I never said appointments were not necessary and that we don't even do appointments, we have always made appointments for the last 20 years. I did try to schedule for tomorrow when we were more open, I'm sorry that wouldn't work for you. We have always been fair to our customers. Joe
