So I have a normal mechanic, Preston Automotive, at 23 Mile and Donner. They do solid work, they just don't do alignments. Got my brakes done and then was on the hunt for someone to do the alignment. Talked to a friend who said Sterling does good work however they try to talk you into tons of things that you don't need. Well, strike 1. But I know my car is in good shape. Armed with a coupon for an alignment for 70$ I call up. I'm told no appointment necessary, they don't even do appountments for an alignment. Awesome! Up bright and early today to take it the guy at the front desk tells me I need an appointment and asking to see my phone to verify my call log. If you guys can't figure out how to schedule appointments I have zero faith in your car repair techniques. It doesn't seem to matter to these guys if I don't know what the accurate description is. All I do is come in and tell them what I think is going on and they are courteous and respectful as they figure it out. This last time I didn't have a ride home and the offer was made to take me home if I wanted. I had brought things to do, and yes it was a long day, but I met interesting people and Joe, the front area fellow, actually chatted with me. Nothing is ever inexpensive about car repair, but they do their best to keep the cost fair. I highly recommend them.

Took my truck in for fuel issues. I felt that the service and quality of work was great. I felt that the price was a little high, but that is my opinion.
