Brought my car in and told them my 3rd cylinder was misfiring randomly. They kept test driving it and almost told me there was nothing wrong with it because it didnt misfire when they stole my car for a joyride. (I never gave permission for them to drive it.) They ended up replacing a coil, which did not fix it, and charged me $400. I am never going back. The employees here are brain dead. You can literally telp them whats wrong and they'll take 3 hours just to realize you were right the whole time. Service: Auto engine diagnostic
Tom, First, if your vehicle is still acting up, you spent hard earn money, we do warranty our work, if there is an issue let us check it over. The first day you were here waiting, we didn't say your vehicle had nothing wrong, your intermittent problem just didn't act up at that time, until we pulled it around for you to go. We never stole your Elantra, to diagnose performance issues you do sometimes have to drive the vehicle with the scanner, to monitor operations of the sensors. It was explained to you that we thought it was an ignition coil and we swapped the coil from one cylinder to the other, so when it did act up, and there was a change in cylinders we would know if it was the coil or not, and it did. Again the repair we do , does have a full warranty, if there is an issue I'd appreciate you giving us a chance to check it out. Thank you.
