Had my car in for service and it's running great. Employees were very courteous and knowledgeable. They did a 40 point inspection, which I like. This will be my go to mechanic. Thanks 😊

Love this! Thank you so much for the review and your business.

Wouldn't touch this place with a 10 foot pole. Plenty of other trustworthy places to take your car in the area. Read all the other bad reviews about them, those are the real truth about this place

Well, it had been running poorly and they changed the Y pipe and convertors, I guess the catalyst were just worn out, also it had a bad vapor sensor. A different shop put on a second rate fuel pump, the float arm fell off and would leak down too fast, needless to say that was a waste of money going there and after that I didn't want them touching my car again. By the way, the other shop wrote Motorcraft and the part # on my invoice to fool me that they installed this brand, which is what I expected but got cheated. Yes, Sterling Car Care really went above and beyond to straighten things out, my SUV has been great for several months now.

Thanks for your business and for the nice review.

So just to clarify things. I was never told I had to pay 79 dollars for an inspection also the repairs that you told me I needed were all wrong which your estimate came to 1600. I came there because my mechanic was on vacation when he returned I took my car to him I needed a power steering pump 2 hoses and a few other issues totaling 730 half of what you were charging me for repairs I didn’t need My car is running fine and has been since the repairs. So with that being said that’s the reason I gave you 1 star You mentioned if there were anything you can do that would be refund my 79 dollars because you clearly didn’t give me the right diagnosis for my car. I have the invoice from my mechanic shop showing the repairs they made where you got your diagnosis from Im not sure but anyway that my reason for the 1 star rating .

Mrs. Hughes we are sad to see you gave us a 1 star review. When you left you seemed sad with the news we gave you about your vehicle but yet understood the repairs you declined but needed. If there is anything we can do better or can be of assistance in any way please reach out to us.

I’m not into bashing, any businesses but downright, trying to rob people!! I need an oil pressure switch sensor changed out first they wanted $189 just to make sure that was it almost all auto shops are free estimates specially if you’re gonna give them the work they wanted $1400 to change out the sensor found JB auto garage on Gratiot in Clinton Township to do it for 220. JB had to take a starter off to get the sensor on but he said it wasn’t no big deal. I’ll refer anyone and everyone to JB auto Brandon Hall Road an Gratiot, guy was downright straight stand up guy stay away from his money grab
