I wouldn't bother. There is a place just around the corner on Mound, just north of 18, open on Sat & Sun (closed Mon) I would recommend - Car Doc. I was sent here, Sterling Car Care, for warranty work on my engine, and when I checked in, they asked for my phone #, and the guy said "Last time you were here was in 2005. Why did it take you so long to come back?" Well, obviously because I wasn't happy with the service or prices I received in 2005, and if I had a choice, I wouldn't have picked here for my warranty service. They had my car for 79 days! Thank goodness I got a loaner, but never once did they call me to give me an update on what was happening with my car. I had to check in once a week to get an update. The lack of communication here is awful. then, when I got my car back, they left a screw or tool in the dashboard that would roll back and forth when I turned, my air conditioning didn't work, and there was scratches & a big divot of paint taken off my passenger side. When I showed the manager it, he grunted at me and said "are you sure it wasn't there before?" Yes sir, I'm positive! 3 weeks before you had my car, I had the paint re-done/buffed out/ re-glazed. Then to add insult to injury, 2 days after I picked up my car, I got a text from them saying "welcome to sterling car care! We can give you updates on your car." SMH

Beware...Very good in scamming customers. I took my vehicle for a rear camera issue. The guy charged $125 for 1 hour diagnostics . Never told me about the diagnostic charge. The sad thing he didn’t fix the issue and i lost $125.

The guys that work the front desk were amazing! Intook my vehicle to be worked on and I had it back with 3-4 days. Even afterwards, they checked to make sure everything was still running perfectly!

Called to get an estimate for a car I was potentially going to buy from a dealership. The employee who answered the phone was knowledgeable about the common issues with the Chevy HHR and had competitive pricing for a repair shop. It was an overall pleasant experience.

They can’t find issues and then don’t actually put in any work to figure it out. I paid a service charge for nothing. Won’t be going back here anymore.

On a Saturday morning I received a call from my wife that her vehicle would not start. She was at a hotel in Sterling Heights on Van Dyke Rd. I called a few places to get the car in and was told no one would be able to help on such short notice on a Saturday. I called the guys at Sterling and when they asked me for my phone number, my account came up in their system. I forgot I had another vehicle serviced almost 7 years ago. They gave me a number to a tow company who could get the vehicle to them quickly. I told them I thought the alternator was bad. Within 30 minutes they had tested the alternator and informed me all I needed was a battery. What I thought would be a $500 repair including the tow ended up only costing $200. They even stayed a little past closing so my wife could retrieve the vehicle. They saved the weekend and my wallet. I highly recommend the guys at Sterling.

They always do a great job. It is why I drive 30 minutes to get my work done there.

We have had an older vehicle in here 3 times and they have always been helpful, courteous, professional and honest. Great communication with what is wrong with the car and when it will be completed and ready for pick up. We appreciate the great service we've received.
