I had my vehicle towed in because it wouldn't stay running. I informed them the SES light was on beforehand and that it was idling rough The battery died in the process of trying to restart it. I had a brand new battery in the back seat but needed help installing it due to corrosion. I was charged $64.20 to install my new battery and replace the cables...plus a $10 charge for having my own battery! Then to find out why the vehicle wouldn't stay running I was told there was a $107 diagnostic fee....ok. I received a call a short time later to inform me that I had a burned out fuel pump costing $877 to replace including a new fuel filter. I wasn't entirely pleased that for the cost of the job that the fuel tank wasn't washed, but they assured me that they didn't see any dirt in in. The good part is that I had my vehicle back the very next morning. Total bill: $1090. This is only shop I've ever encountered that does not waive the diagnostic fee if the work is performed, but ok at least the charge wasn't hidden in the labor somewhere else. I only drove it home that day. The following day I was out driving and the SES light came back on with the EVAP codes P0455, P0171/0174, P2195/2197 that it had coming in originally. I made arrangements to bring the vehicle back in to have the work rechecked to make sure there weren't any problems with the seals or connections. I was told there are not but that the codes were pointing to other EVAP issues and that there was a damaged vent valve. It would cost me ANOTHER $107 to diagnosis these codes that the vehicle came in with! Why? Why wouldn't I have been told of the possible corrections that needed to be made associated with those EVAP codes? Why at least wasn't I informed of the damaged valve at the time of the service? Absolutely ridiculous to pay another diagnostic fee within a week of the vehicle going in with the same codes.

Took my daughters vehicle to them for the battery light being on and paid $53 to have them diagnose it. They stated it needed a new alternator, pulley and belt - repairs totaling over $875. I called around and found two other places who quoted the exact same work for under $600. Needless to say I won’t be back. I can’t believe they actually get business overcharging people. I was out the $53, but still saved a lot of money getting the car out of there and into a more honest shop. Never again.

Mr. Brehler, yes, your daughters car was brought in to diagnose the battery light being on, we found the alternator not working properly, and had suggested replacing the belt (153,xxx miles) and also noted the belt tensioner is separating. I'm sorry you feel we weren't honest, I had explained to you this vehicle uses a special belt, it is Aramid Cord Construction, and there was an alternative cheaper belt, and also less expensive tensioner. You had explained to me your son, that works at Oreilly's, was going to repair the vehicle. I'm sorry you feel you were out $53 but I believe we did a very fair assessment, if you would like to speak in more detail about your concerns. When you have a moment, please send an email with your contact information and availability to [email protected]. Thank you.

Misleading quotes. $214 for Diagnostics. Tried to add on services that I did not request.

Don, I'm sorry your first time experience felt misleading. Your vehicle was brought in not running, but cranking over. We did diagnose it as a timing issue for the original diagnosis and recommended to remove the valve cover and inspect the valves for damage being this motor is a interference motor. Which you agreed the further diagnosis. This way we can properly assess the problem to either timing belt replacement or an Engine replacement. I'm not sure what add on services you are mentioning, besides replacing the water pump while you are doing the timing belt. Being transparent regarding the costs of our services is of paramount importance to our team, Don, so we would appreciate an opportunity to speak with you in more detail about your concerns. When you have a moment, please send an email with your contact information and availability to [email protected]. Thank you.
